Medina - a non-smoking tastefully furnished, centrally heated bungalow with private parking.  Set in a peaceful old walled garden surrounded by trees, yet within easy walking distance of the centre of Portree.

On a sunny day, sit outside in the south facing garden where the only sound is of the many garden birds or take a short stroll down to the north shore of Portree bay where seals and herons are regularly sighted.  Close by is the popular coastal walk to Black Rock and Scorrybreac, the ancestral home of the Nicholson clan.  Experience the wonderful views of the Cuillin Mountains and the Sound of Raasay.

Portree is only a 10 minute walk away from Medina where you will find many excellent restaurants, shops, the bus terminal and the picturesque old harbour from which many boat trips are available.

Portree - the island's capital is situated centrally on the island and major roads radiate from here.  It is the ideal point from which to tour the island.  Your hosts Tony and Judith have over 35 years of experience of tourism on Skye and will be delighted to give you advice on planning your day's itinery, tell you about the many "off the beaten track" treasures, arrange a day's boat trip for you or make suggestions where you might like to eat in the evening.

Tony and Judith are proud that Medina has been awarded 4 stars both by Visit Scotland and also by the Automobile Association in recognition of the standard, facilities and services offered.
